Winter 2012 Lacrosse Game Schedule & Current Roster

It looks like we play most of our games at 4:00pm except for one, and that will be at 5:00pm. All games are at the Vadnais Dome. I believe it is off of County Rd E and Hwy 61. The schedule is as follows:
 
January 8th- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Penguins
January 15- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Mahtomedi Gold
January 22- 5:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. White Bear Lake
January 29- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Stillwater
February 5- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Blaine
February 12- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Mahtomedi Gold
February 26- 4:00pm- Vadnais Dome- MV vs. Penguins

We will provide jerseys for the boys. Please plan to arrive about 15-30 minutes ahead of each game so the games can start on time.
 
The list of the team is listed here. If you have sent your check to Judy Bergquist and registered with Homegrown and your name is not on this list, please let me know (I'm pretty sure I'm missing a couple of you!). Also, if you plan to be a sub, please let me know. I have had quite a few subs added to my list and I would like to be sure that I have all of you. Please provide me with your phone number so we can contact you for a game. Subs must also be registered with Homegrown Lacrosse (Waiver filled out, etc.).

Captains' Practices Winter 2012

We begin Captain's Practices this Friday, January 6th at the Vadnais Dome. The cost is $10.00/player. The time for this Friday is 6-8pm. The rest of the dates and times for the practices are:
January 13- 5:00pm-6:00pm- $10.00
January 20- 5:00pm-6:00pm- $10.00
January 27- 5:00pm-6:00pm- $10.00
February 3- 5:00pm-6:00pm- $10.00

I will provide you with the remaining February/March dates later this month.

I am happy to report that MVBLA has worked with Identity Stores to establish an online store which will allow you to purchase Mounds View Boys Lacrosse Apparel and other Goodies online.

Our intention is that this will provide our members with convenient shopping and a consistant look.  This provides our members with a direct transaction with the Store.  You order the product online, the product is made to order and shipped directly to you.  MVBLA is no longer the middle man of the transaction.

It is the intention that the products offered in the store become our standard look.  I encourage all Coaches, Players and Parents to buy your MVBLA Gear through this store.  I hope you enjoy the items and the convenience this offers you.  I also hope you like that we are moving back to the true Mounds View Colors, Kelly Green and White.

MVBLA Board Meetings

MVBLA's Board Meeting are held the second Wednesday of each Month unless conflicts arrise.  The meetings are at 7:00 PM and will be held at the Shoreview Community Center.  Hope to see you there.

Winter League Registration

We can register for Winter Lacrosse League now. We will be capping the number of players at 26; if you wish to play but don't think you can play many of the games, you could be a sub. If you want to do that, please contact me.
 
Please use the link below to register with Homegrown Lacrosse. Please follow their directions for the registering process.

You will not be paying any money when you register with Homegrown. This registration is to keep track of our roster and sign the waiver form.

You can also find the registration link on our Mounds View Boys High School Lacrosse website, which is the preferred place to go. Please click on the link that is provided to you on the website and it will take you to the Homegrown Winter League registration site.

The cost to play in the winter league is $150.00. The first 26 checks we receive will be the players on the winter league team.

Please do not assume that you are on the team because you expressed interest in playing earlier; we needed to know at that time if we had enough interest to pursue playing in the winter league, which we do, so please register and make your payment..that is how you will be on the team.

Player Registration

You can send your players here to register for the league. There is no cost associated with this registration. This allows your players to sign our waiver online, rather than turn in a hard copy. All players must complete this process prior to your first game.
